Astoria man wanted for forcible touching incident

Police are looking for a man who allegedly touched a 76-year-old woman on the leg.

Authorities say at about 8:40 a.m. on Sunday, April 3, the man followed the woman into her apartment building’s vestibule and then placed his hand on her leg. The woman yelled for him to stop, causing the suspect to flee the apartment building. The incident occurred near 44th Street and 25th Avenue.

Police describe the man as between 30 and 40 years old, white or Hispanic, 5’10” to 6’0″ and between 180 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.
