Meet the 114th’s new NCOs
The 114th Precinct is one of the many police precincts throughout the city to introduce NCOs, or neighborhood coordination officers. They’re the cops who will be bringing the police tactic of neighborhood policing, or knowing your neighborhood and the residents and businesses in it, back to New York City.
Last week, the precinct released a map of where the new NCOs will be patrolling by foot. Here’s a breakdown of who will be covering which areas:
- Sector David (Astoria Park South to Queens Plaza North, 21st Street to Main Street on Roosevelt Island)
- NCOs: PO Matthes and PO Esposito
- Sector Boy (19th Avenue to Astoria Boulevard North, 20th Avenue to Hoyt Avenue North, Shore Boulevard t0 81st Street)
- NCOs: PO Masouridis and PO Holly
- Sector Charlie (Astoria Boulevard South to Northern Boulevard, Steinway Street to east side of 21st Street)
- NCOs: PO Bedoya and PO Ferraro
- Sector Adam (Astoria Boulevard South to 37th Avenue, Steinway Street to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway east and west)
- NCOs: PO Krala and PO Lewandowski
