If you haven’t yet registered to vote and want to participate in this year’s presidential election, the deadline to register isĀ Friday, October 14.

And if you haven’t tried the Souvlaki Lady’s food on Ditmars Boulevard and 33rd Street, you’re also missing out.

Now, you can do both at the same time.

The mayor’s office is working together with Urban Justice Center’s Street Vendor Project to create a voter registration drive called #NoshTheVote, where food trucks across the city will be equipped with voter registration forms.

“We are fighting for every vote to count,” Mayor de Blasio said. “We’re working with some of NYC’s food trucks and street cars to serve up delicious food and voter registration forms.”

The Souvlaki Lady in Astoria is one of 12 trucks to participate in the drive.

According to the mayor’s office, 2 million eligible voters have not yet registered in New York City.

If you’d like to sign up to vote the traditional way, visit voting.nyc by Friday, October 14.
