Hell Gate Centenary Committee meeting

The Hell Gate Centenary Committee is meeting next Tuesday, November 22nd to discuss events planned for the celebration.

The meeting with be at Riccardo’s on 21st Street and 24th Avenue, starting at 6 p.m. Immediately following the committee meeting is the 114th Community Council’s 7:15 p.m. meeting.

At the meeting, the committee will discuss the Hell Gate 5K run, fireworks, a concert, painting and maintenance.

They will also go over events that have already begun, such as the Astoria Historical Society’s presentation and photo exhibits.

Finally, the committee will make its own official stationery and create working committees.
