Comment on the cleanup of Halletts Point

Elected officials and developers broke ground on the project on January 14.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application from developers of two Halletts Point buildings.

Now, you have a chance to comment on this application. DEC is taking public comments until December 30.

A copy of the application will be available at document repositories at Queens Public Library’s Astoria branch (14-01 Astoria Boulevard) and Queens Community Board 1’s office (45-01 Ditmars Boulevard).
