Mobile care clinic comes to Astoria

Assemblyman Brian Barnwell, State Senator Michael Gianaris and Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer are sponsoring a mobile care clinic to come to Astoria and provide much-needed, free exams.

Tomorrow afternoon, the mobile care van will come to PC Richards at 35-18 Steinway Street, starting at 2 p.m.

It will provide free digital mammograms and clinical breast exams.

Here are the eligibility requirements:

• Women ages 40 and older with health insurance,
• Women ages 50 and older without health insurance
• Currently living in New York City
• No mammogram in the past 12 months.

No co-pays are required and deductibles are waived.
