Movie Mondays at Astoria Park

Now that August is upon us, Central Astoria Local Development Coalition is sponsoring a series of free movies on the Astoria Park Great Lawn every Monday night at 8:30 p.m.

August 7th will feature the hit comedy “School of Rock.” On the 14th, you can catch the heart-warming (but also dramatic) “Toy Story 3.” On August 21st, they’ll take you back to 1997 with the classic film “Titanic.” Finally, on the 28th, bring your kids and family to watch “Finding Dory,” the sequel to “Finding Nemo.”

It all takes place on Shore Boulevard between the Hell Gate Bridge and the Astoria Park Pool. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy!
