If you’re looking for a place to record some voiceover work or even launch your new podcast, look no further.

QED, an Astoria-based performance space and creative learning spot, has opened their new high quality audio recording studio, QED Studios, at 27-16 23rd Avenue.

The studio is built specifically with podcasts in mind, but voiceover artists can also use it as well.

It features four microphones and audio interface with the option of recording on Pro Tools. QED Studios will also offer the option of having a dedicated technician on hand to help you record or mix an episode.

“Podcasting has become such a popular medium in recent years, but a lot of creative types are still intimidated by the idea of starting their own show because they don’t know where to start equipment-wise,” said Chris Gersbeck, who helped build the studio. “The studio allows anyone to sit down, hit record and leave with an incredible sounding episode.”

The introductory rate is $30 per hour.
