Tomorrow: NYC Four Boro Bike and Beer Tour

Tomorrow September 29th 8:30-9PM come for the biking, brunch and beer drinking. The group will meet at Queensboro Bridge. The mileage will be about 36 miles total from Queensboro to the end.

Some of the breweries have food for everyone including some really yummy vegan options.

This is a good beginner bike ride. You can even use Citi Bike for it but you might have to pay at least $30 for overtime fees because there are no docks in the Bronx. Here is a list of place that will rent bikes also from NYCC:https://nycc.org/resources/road-bike-rentals.

Another option is to get a 24-hour bike rental in Central Park from Unlimited bikes if you want to do the whole tour. The regular cruiser bikes are $65 for a 24-hour rental. Here is the link to reserve a bike from them:https://www.unlimitedbiking.com/New-York-Bike-Rentals.

I have allocated about an hour to stop at each brewery with a 15 minute to 30-minute bike ride time allocation between breweries. They are all within a few miles of each other. If flat tires or accidents happen then this schedule will shift but I hope to keep it as close as possible to those times.

This is not a race so don’t expect us to hit more than 10 to 12 mph since there will lots of lights, stop signs, etc and we want to ride carefully.

We won’t follow it exactly to the letter but close enough.
