Ghost Hunt at George’s at KAS this Halloween
Have you ever seen a ghost? This Halloween, George’s at Kaufman Astoria Studios is hosting their first ever Resurrection Party!
George’s is known for its Hollywood style haunts and was featured in Thrillist’s “13 Terrifying Places In And Around NYC You Definitely Didn’t Know Were Haunted” list earlier this year.
Rudolph Valentino, Gloria Swanson, and Mary Pickford have all been in films produced at the studio… and their spirits may still be lingering. Visitors to George’s have reportedly seen a woman with a vintage cigarette holder in the ladies’ bathroom who disappears with a second glance.
George’s is partnering with The Ghost Doctors to give guests an exclusive tour of Kaufman Astoria Studios on October 31st at 7:30 pm.
Guests will join the Ghost Doctors on their quest to unearth the spirits of George’s restaurant through the use of real spirit hunting equipment including, EMF meters, infrared temperature detectors, and dowsing rods.
After a crash course in the basics of ghost hunting 101, which includes an introduction to a whole doctors bag of paranormal investigational equipment, the Ghost Doctors will lead their group of newly trained ghost hunters on a supernatural quest to find what, or who, still lurks within George’s.
At $30, guests will ensure their spot in the ghost tour but will also receive a drink ticket for one house cocktail, one house wine, or two bottles of beer.
Well renowned actress and singer Amy Rivard will be performing after the tour is completed. She will be singing her new song “The Three Divas” which is largely inspired by the otherworldly visitors at George’s.
