Spring Break Fun at Rainey Park
The Central Astoria Local Development Coalition is hosting its annual “Spring Break Fun at Rainey Park” event on Wednesday, April 24 from noon to 3 p.m.
The event, previously held at Dutch Kills Playground for the last two years, is free and open to the public.
Bring your kids to enjoy activities such as canvas painting, splatter painting, face painting and balloon artistry.
There will be spring-themed children’s shows “Music Garden” and “The Missing Flowers,” as well as the interactive puppet show by WonderSpark Puppets.
The event is funded by Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer through the NYC Council Parks Equity Initiative, as well as support from Con Edison and Main Street Radiology.
