In Q3, Ditmars-Steinway is NYC’s 21st priciest neighborhood

In PropertyShark’s latest report on the most expensive neighborhoods in New York City, Ditmars-Steinway placed 21st overall.

More importantly, the area saw a 47 percent year-over-year increase, and crossed the $1 million median sale price mark in the third quarter. That number is based on just seven transactions in Q3.

That makes the Astoria neighborhood the most expensive neighborhood in Queens, followed by Hunters Point ($895,572) in 31st place, Belle Harbor ($890,000) at 32nd and East Flushing ($890,000) in 33rd place.

According to the report, Manhattan, the Bronx and Queens all had a decrease in the number of transactions year-over-year, with Queens dipping by 1.4 percent.

But every Queens neighborhood on their list posted a year-over-year increase this quarter.
