CIANA cancels adult classes, after school programs

CIANA, the Astoria-based immigrant services and integration organization, has cancelled adult classes and after school programs “for the time being” amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

“We have been following NYC and CDC guidelines and believe that the best way to stop the virus from spreading is for all of us to work from home,” said Emira Habiby Browne, founder and CEO, said in a message to supporters.
