Wednesday’s OANA meeting will be live-streamed

Tomorrow’s meeting of the Old Astoria Neighborhood Association (OANA) will go on as planned despite COVID-19 concerns statewide.

But for those who cannot make it in person, do not fret. The meeting will be live-streamed on the OANA Facebook page. Those watching the live-stream can participate by using the comment box on the page.

There is also an update to the agenda. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has cancelled their presentation.

As you might have heard, the Port Authority’s executive director, Rick Cotton, tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is currently self-quarantined at home.

In its place, Neighborhood Housing Services of Queens will discuss assistance in purchasing and maintaining your home.

The Department of Transportation, HANAC and Brooklyn Harvest Market are still on track to present.

The meeting will take place at the Family Church, located at 26-13 18th Street, starting at 6:30 p.m.
