PS1’s Niki de Saint Phalle Family Day at the 46th Ave. Pop Up Plaza

Join MoMA PS1 and Teen Art Salon on Sunday, August 8 from 12-4 p.m. for the launch of a Family Activity Guide for the exhibition Niki de Saint Phalle: Structures for Life. This free event, happening at the 46th Ave Pop-Up Plaza (in front of the PS1 main entrance), will feature live costumed figure drawing, a colorful board game, and an interactive family guide.

¡Acompaña a MoMA PS1 y Teen Art Salon el 8 de agosto de 12-4pm para el lanzamiento de una guía de actividades para familias para la exhibición Niki de Saint Phalle: Structures for Life! El evento tendrá una sesión de dibujo con modelos en vivo, un juego de mesa interactivo, y  habrá la guía de actividades disponible dentro del museo. El evento es totalmente gratuito.–

Physical copies of the family guide and board game will be available for families to complete onsite or to take home. We will provide art materials for the live costumed figure drawing and for those who wish to decorate their family guides and board games while onsite. 

The museum is open from 12-6 p.m. on Sunday and admission to PS1 is free for all NYC residents. Families are welcome to check out outdoor art installations by Rashid Johnson, Niki de Saint Phalle, Raúl de Nieves, and Gregg Bordowitz in the Courtyard and view the installation Black Trans Liberation: Memoriam and Deliverance in Homeroom, and exhibits Niki de Saint Phalle: Structures for Life, and Gregg Bordowitz: I Wanna Be Well.
