Steinway Family Dental Gives Back with Free Services

Steinway Family Dental Center (SFDC) is proud to announce their Semi-Annual Free Dental Day on Friday. This event provides a free day of preventative dental care to adults 18 or older within the Astoria community.

According to the American Hygienist Association, “50% of Americans do not receive regular oral health care.” This high inability to visit the dentist causes thousands to miss out on preventative dental care that could greatly help both their oral health and overall health. So Free Dental Day was created to provide aid to the growing number of those who can’t afford dental services.

“People with teeth live longer. There is no better reason to take care of your oral health,” says Dr. Aleksandr Dayanayev of Steinway Family Dental Center.

Steinway Family Dental Center will be doing any procedure that can be done in one day, including free cleanings, exams, x-rays, and more. Patients can also learn about the importance of regular dental examinations, proper brushing and flossing techniques, and important information relevant to their dental health.
