As N/W train riders in Astoria know well, the MTA has been renovating train stations in the last few years.

30th Avenue, Broadway, 36th Avenue and 39th Avenue have all either been remade, or being renovated now.

Ditmars Boulevard, while not in a full shutdown, is also being fixed.

Next will be the Astoria Boulevard station, which is a vital connection to buses like the M60 to LaGuardia Airport and Harlem.

On Wednesday, January 30 at 7 p.m., the MTA to give a presentation on the upcoming renovation and closures at the Astoria Blvd. station.

The event, hosted by the Old Astoria Neighborhood Association (OANA), will be at the Family Church, 26-13 18th Street.

MTA officials will take your questions.

To RSVP, email rsvp@oana-ny.org and put “MTA Meeting” in the subject line.
