Ditmars-Steinway sees 115% jump in median home price: report
The median home prices in the Ditmars-Steinway area of northwestern Queens have shot up 115 percent in the first quarter, according to a new report from PropertyShark.com.
The median price has now reached $990,750 – making it the 28th most expensive neighborhood in New York City.
It’s the second highest Queens neighborhood in this list. Only Belle Harbor, at $990,750, is above Ditmars-Steinway.
TriBeCa and SoHo, at $4.2 million and $2.9 million, remain the top two most expensive neighborhoods in the city.
Three Brooklyn neighborhoods – Columbia Street Waterfront District, DUMBO and Carroll Gardens – also cracked the top ten.
