WATCH: Robber steals $200 from senior

See this video of a thief stealing $200 right from an old man at a bank in Astoria.

Police say that on Tuesday, August 23, at approximately 7 p.m., a 73-year-old man was withdrawing $200 from an ATM at Bank of America, located at 30-18 36th Avenue.

The suspect in question approached the senior from behind and grab the money from the man’s hands. He ran away as the senior tried to chase him to no avail.

There have been no reported injuries. Police describe the suspect as a white man, approximately 25 years old, 5’9″, 200 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
