Chip NYC is worth getting your hand caught in the cookie jar
Last week, our Astoria Journal Foodies Team stopped by Chip NYC to try their famous cookies and well let’s just say they’re absolutely worth getting your hand caught in the cookie jar.
Even on a hot and humid summer day, the warmth and smell of the cookies at Chip were simply delightful as they were served fresh out of the oven.
We ordered a batch of their cookies including the classic chocolate chip cookie, triple chocolate chip, and cookies ‘n’ cream.
After taking a bite of their chocolate chip cookie, we felt instantly transported back to our childhoods.
It contained the perfect amount of chunkiness that was complimented by the soft warm dough and gooey chocolate chips. The walnuts only added to the texture and taste of the cookie.
It was the kind of cookie that’s perfect with a cup of milk right before bed.
Finally, we tried their triple chocolate chip cookie. This monster looked tough on the outside but was soft and sweet on the inside with an overdose of chocolate that aims to please chocolate lovers.
Yes, there is often a line down the block… but as the saying goes, things come to those who wait – delicious, gooey things.
Chip is located at 30-06 34th St. in Astoria, Queens.
