OANA to discuss DDC, Revel at next meeting

The next meeting of the Old Astoria Neighborhood Association (OANA) is scheduled for November 12 at 7 p.m.

It will take place in the basement of St. George Episcopal Church, located at 14-20 27th Avenue.

The agenda for the meeting includes an introduction to the role and activities of the NYC Department of Design and Construction.

That will be followed by a presentation from REVEL Moped Company, the rentable electric scooters.

After REVEL, the Transportation Outreach Unit of the NYPD will discuss traffic and parking issues with local residents.

Lias Stone, principal at PS 171, will give an overview of the school and talk child safety issues.
