Meet Mount Sinai’s new breast cancer doctor
Dr. Jaime Alberty is the latest breast cancer physician to join the staff at Mount Sinai Queens on 30th Avenue.
Dr. Alberty is an assistant professor of surgery within the Division of Breast Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine. He sees patients at both Mount Sinai Dubin Breast Center and Mount Sinai Queens.
A board certified general surgeon, Alberty’s expertise includes benign and malignant breast disorders, with a focus on breast cancer.
His extensive experience includes breast ultrasonography, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and nipple and areola-sparing mastectomies.
His research interests range from partial breast irradiation to inflammatory disorders of the breast and racial disparities in breast cancer.
Alberty is fluent in both English and Spanish.
