The Astoria Apartment Towers Are Finally Here

The long-awaited Astoria apartment towers better known as 10 Halletts Point will be available this month, well the first project that is.

The first project delivers 404 rentals spread across the two towers facing Manhatten. While there were a few bumps with uneven ‘soil conditions’ along with the replacement of a contractor. The 404 projects coasted through its $1.5 billion dollar investment whereas the larger developments remain hitting roadblocks.

The larger developments include two affordable buildings that were built on the campuses nearing the Astoria Houses. The buildings run a mile from Astoria Boulevard which hosts the N and W trains.  Hallet’s point also seeks to create a shuttle system to speed up in between travels.

The sleek lobby was designed by Spacesmith. Ofcourse, the sell value here is the view. With that, the Hallets point is also looking to expand to the west of Hallets Point nearing the water’s edge. The studios begin at $1895, one bedroom’s at $2,525 and the two bedrooms will start at $3,595. The move ins will commence in March.

Mr. Durst, the chief development officer stated ‘this fall’  will be the commencement date of the construction buildings closer to the shore, but ultimately time will tell.
